Being Discovered:
This example started as the unlimited version of “Being Discovered” you’ll find on the First Cuts example page. The First Cuts version was edited to make a more finished product but the b-roll and lower third titles were eliminated in that process. After sending the edited Sequence to Finisher, along with all the original Bins from the project (instead of needing to sort for b-roll among the Bins) and this is the result Finisher sent back. Note the use of a Sequence Marker (with duration) to force b-roll across a series of quick audio edits toward the end.
Confidence Bay:
This is a typical trade show type edit as thousands do them every year. Start with an a-roll edit and use Finisher to add Lower Third and b-roll. Use keywords in the Sequence Markers and on the b-roll clips to improve the quality of the edit.
Ode to the Beach:
This experimental piece uses no metadata. The audio of the poem was recorded and Sequence Markers (with duration) set along the timeline where I felt clips should go. From there on the result is entirely from Finisher.
